We are expanding our pre-contract division in Sri Lanka and seeking a talented, detail-oriented Assistant Quantity Surveyor (Pre-Contract) to join our growing team.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in preparing BOQs, cost estimates, and tender documentation.
Support the preparation and review of Cost Plans.
Conduct material take-offs, quantification, and rate analysis.
Coordinate with senior QS staff on tender reviews and reporting.
Assist in evaluating supplier quotations for accuracy and compliance.
Maintain documentation, drawings, and project files with attention to detail.
Contribute to improving cost planning processes and workflow efficiency.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying/Engineering/Construction Management or relevant discipline.
2–3 years of hands-on experience in pre-contract QS work.
Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, cost planning, and tendering.
Familiarity with QS software (Cost-X, Revit, Plan Swift, AutoCAD, MS Excel, QS tools).
Excellent communication and analytical skills.
Ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
